Nikon D5 Birding. The famous Nikon f-mount has not changed at all since 1959. The announcement of the Nikon D5 and Nikon D500 is big news and I am sure many bird photographers that were waiting for a chance to upgrade their D300 or D300s see the D500 as a tempting choice.
The DX sensor superior autofocus performance high ISO performance best in class frames per second 10 FPS and travel-friendly size makes the Nikon D500 perfect for wildlife and bird photography. With the slower 7 fps of the D-850 I have been unable to do that. For almost 2 years the Nikon D500 has been my go to camera body for bird photography.
