I thought you might like to see this. However we stood at a sensible distance from the bird on the other side of the road and attained nice images even in the light snow. Walking north Id soon caught up with the long-staying juv Red-backed Shrike which showed very nicely indeed in scrub close to the Birds Eye factory fence. So in all this confusion I am a local birder on the Suffolk coast in Lowestoft.
