Dorion Bird Festival. Dorions Canyon Country Birding Festival An annual May event held to promote birding by providing a quality birding experience for both novice and seasoned birders. Local residents have a long history of bird watching and for the past few years area residents have placed second in Ontario for recorded checklists in the Great Backyard Bird Count.
The Birding Fest originally began with the Township Of Dorion as Dorions Canyon Country Birding Festival but has now been taken over Lakehead Conservation Authority however still occurs in Dorion Ontario.
