Bird Of Prey Centre North Yorkshire. Thirsk Birds of Prey Centre at Sion Hill Hall was set up to ensure that birds of prey would survive to provide the public with a rare opportunity to see and enjoy these beautiful birds. If you have ever dreamed of seeing eagles soaring above your head owls sweeping past or ducking and diving as vultures fly by then this is the place for you.
Baby changing facilities are provided as well as a disabled toilet. 2021 sees the Fair remaining at the same venue the grounds of the fantastic National Centre for Birds of Prey Duncombe Park in north Yorkshire. The Owl House Cafe is set within our grounds and serves a variety of locally sourced snacks hot and cold meals as well as fresh coffee and Yorkshire Tea.
Staff are hugely dedicated to the care of the amazing range of birds who are looked after here.
The bird of prey and mammal centre will remain closed until legislation allows for it to re-open. The Hen Harrier was formerly a widespread breeding bird in Britain occurring in lowland and upland heathland habitats. The secluded hamlet of Feizor lends itself as the perfect home of our Yorkshire Birds of Prey experiences - our birds free fly in picturesque countryside with views that make the days even more special.
