The boardwalk is also an excellent place to see birds in Alberta and is another highlight of the park. Tony LePrieur photographed these birds at the wetland just south of Priddis on Priddis Valley Road on May 26 2018. Additionally some bird species have more rigorously legislated requirements under the Species at Risk Act. This spot near the mouth of the Sturgeon River is a great spot to see and photograph Alberta birds.
